Decal Pattern The 401 was not decorated with decals. It does have the Singer name on the top and the back of the machine. Both these decals are in relatively good shape.
Condition This machine has been well taken care of. The finish is in good shape. There is some light pin scratching on the bed and a few very tiny chips on the flywheel.
The 401 is a slant shank machine..
Attachments included --The original manual (has some water staining, and the cover has a short rip at the binding. It is complete)-- the seam guide -- the ruffler -- the multi-slotted binder -- the foot hemmer -- the zipper foot -- the button sewing foot -- the special purpose foot -- the straight stitch cover plate -- a plastic oil bottle (empty) -- the attachment box with the top tray -- 5 decorative pattern cams.
Case There is no case for this machine. It is ready to place into your case or cabinet. The machine does have the standard mounting holes in the back of the bed.
Tested This machine has been tested by a quilter and a quilt block is included!
